Setup does not start due to bad floppy disk controller.
Cause:
The floppy drive disk controller may be damaged.
Solution:
Type COPY A:\*.* NUL and report error messages to a qualified computer technician or next-level support.
1) Insert the setup diskette into the floppy drive.
2) Type the following, and press ENTER:
COPY <drive>:\*.* NUL
(where <drive> represents the letter of the floppy drive.)
NOTE: The above command copies files to a NUL device.
3) Note any error messages that appear on the screen, and refer them to a qualified computer technician or next-level support.
